The Invisible Computer

I am currently reading The Invisble Computer by Donald A. Norman. This book is one of the most interesting I have read lately and the best way to summarize it is simply to quote the author himself:

“Why good products can fail, the personal computer is so complex, and Information Appliance are the solution”.

  Donald A. Norman

In this text, Norman brillantly exposes his thoughts about the state of computing toward end users. Although this book is not directly related to user interface design, it clearly presents the priorities every UI designer should have. This book is all about meeting the end user needs. It really is an insightful and thoughtful piece of work.
